About all of our facilities and things you can do and things you have to avoid.
Two Tier Pools
We have also provided access to Zion Ponderosa Resorts 2 tier pools and hot tubs. Just check in with their front desk (main building) and let them know where you are staying and they will charge our account for you to swim. It will take just about 5 minutes to drive the dirt road to and from the resort. Or you can walk the 2 miles for added exercise.
Living Room
The family room includes a 42 inch television that can access your streaming services. The house has starlink for internet services. Cell phone is apparently great if you have ATT. I don’t have that so I just use the internet.
Luxurious Rooms
This new 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home is set back on a 2 acre wooded lot. On the left side of the house is the Master with private ¾ bath and queen bed. On the right are two more bedrooms and a full bath. One bedroom has a queen bed and one has a single over full bunk bed. Stocked kitchen with expandable dining room table. Mudroom with full size washer and dryer.
Environment
Utah is a “high desert”. This house is at 6500 feet elevation. If you are not used to high altitude - We recommend that you do not hike strenuously for at least a day. Altitude sickness is no joke. This property is up on the east rim, but if you are going into slot canyons, please check for flash flood advisories first.
Technology & Camera
There are two external cameras - one in the front aimed at the road and one at the back door aimed toward the Park. This is a remote area and when guests aren’t there, we need to check for wildlife, etc. Covering or moving those cameras is strictly prohibited and will result in a $500 fine. Inside the house are various sensors for heat, humidity and leaks. We don’t check them when there are guests so if you encounter issues with heat, humidity or leaks, please let us know right away. Tampering with the Star Link or hub is strictly prohibited and will result in a $500 fine.
Zion Ponderosa
Zion Ponderosa provides activities great for all ages as well as dining options if desired. Many other guided activities are offered for additional cost, check out their website for more details. Also check out East Zion Adventures - they have great activities both up on the East Rim and down in Orderville.
About Neighbours
Please note that there are no fences in this neighborhood between the lots. So be careful to respect the neighbors’ properties. For an adventure, you can cross the wire fence in the back yard and be on Zion National Park land.
Some Note
This is a NO ANIMAL location. If you travel with animals, please check out one of the other fine properties in the area. Having animals at this location will result in a mandatory $500 fine plus all additional cleaning fees.
